The opportunity

XLINQ has been founded in 2017 in ING Labs Amsterdam (ING Neo). It has been established with the idea to explore new ways to build banking software that helps banks to replace legacy systems and to implement new services faster.

We have built a platform that digitizes requirements in unambiguous specifications and automates the end-to-end software development process. The software generated by the XLINQ platform is cloud native and can be deployed in a single- or multi-tenant setup.

As it is common in startup culture, there is a completely flat organizational structure. We take end-to-end responsibility of our products and execute in an iterative way towards our goal! The team faces various and often unique technical challenges which, according to our engineers' own words, are both stimulating and satisfying once resolved. The team/ Environment

We are a small but highly motivated international team with a complete set of functional and technical expertise to build and run our end-to-end solution. We cover all the phases of the software development process: analysis, design, development, integration, testing, implementation, operations, security, and maintenance. You are constantly working with different disciplines, the Product Owner, Developers and Business engineers.

Roles and responsibilities

We generate process- and front-end flows based on a set of Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) we’ve developed over the past years. For the generation of the front-end flows we use our XLINQ Design system, which covers a set of components that are used as building blocks for the portals and applications generated by our software. Components are ever changing and expanding based on the use cases that we are building.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer / UX Designer who can help us with designing and expanding the XLINQ Design system and support us in maturing and improving the current design of our software. In practice this means you will work hands-on with designing screens in Figma, research and conceptualize new functionality for new use cases and make sure the designs you make are implemented accordingly.

We ask:

• 5+ years experience with designing complex digital products and services
• Experience with both conceptual and feature level designs
• You have experience with setting up and maintaining design systems
• You can clearly communicate your design decisions with developers and can manage the design implementation.
• You can substantiate your design decisions and are not afraid to go for the unpopular opinion
• You have experience setting up and building websites and implement UIs (HTML, CSS)

• You have experience in building portals for web application (front end developer)
