Global Infrastructure & Engineering (I&E) provides all the global Tech Infrastructure services and tooling supporting our global engineering workforce. Within Tech I&E, the Tribe Global IT Engineering and Operations (GITEO) serves the goal to provide the end-to-end Engineering Journey for our awesome Engineers, to ensure they can securely design, plan, code, build, deploy, test, run and monitor their application(s).

The Tribe GITEO currently comprises three Global Areas:

• Global Operations – containing the GMCR, GMIM and the Global ServiceNow platform

• Global Monitoring – delivering the Global Monitoring Data Pipeline (MDPL)

• Global Engineering – providing the Global OnePipeline platform

Soon a fourth Area will start, that will focus on the engineering journey.

We are looking for a Chapter Lead to facilitate our tribe’s migrations and technology adaptations.

We are looking for a pragmatic, hands-on, delivery-oriented, customer journey-experienced professional, with an Engineering background, who can function within both a consultant role as well as a coach and HR manager for our feature engineering team.

If you like to work on new projects, guide migrations, help with our stakeholder management. Research, challenge and design new ideas, features and projects, that cross the boundaries of our squads, areas or even tribe. This role might be for you.

Your Key Responsibilities

Leads a chapter, sets the standards for the chapter and takes responsibility for developing, innovating and safeguarding knowledge in the field of expertise.

Develops and leads people to meet both their individual goals, career goals, organization's goals.

Creating Roadmaps and/or bringing structure for migration and upgrade initiatives that span across the Tribe.

Doing deep dives on technical challenges and workout guides / journeys, to enable the GITEO Squads

Guide GITEO management set priorities and help them steer when needed

Overall helping GITEO adopt standardized technology solutions

  • Passion for IT.

  • Market focus and Outside-in thinker.

  • CI/CD experience

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps is an asset

  • Good command of a programming language, OR Java

  • Experience with ServiceNow

  • Good consulting skills and stakeholder management expertise

  • Problem solving skills to find creative ways of driving progress and removing impediments; Being a persistent person who is driven by priorities and doesn't get distracted from blockages.

  • Extremely results-oriented, always striving for maximal consumer value as early as possible.

  • Continuous improvement mindset.

  • Very strong communication and presentation skills (telling - selling) across skill and seniority levels.

  • Ability to challenge, influence or convince others through fact-based arguments.

  • Self-disciplined, proactive and organized, with ability to identify what needs to be done.
