Your work environment

Group Services is part of ING TECH and manages the applications, systems and processes needed for ING Group entities like Finance, Risk and HR. Group Services takes care of application development and configuration, and performs various operational IT activities.

Group Services is also responsible for the development and delivery of change initiatives in these ING Group entities, whereby we adhere to the Spotify model and have implemented the Agile Way of Working.

The Global Finance Reporting (GFR) chapter is positioned within two Finance tribes (Statutory & Regulatory Reporting and Business Advice) and is primarily responsible for delivering IT services and application changes regarding  regulatory, statutory and management reporting.

The chapter has an agile mind-set, an eye and drive for continuous improvement, is Risk aware and has eagerness to learn and adapt. The chapter is data driven and is the trusted advisor to its stakeholders. Especially looking at the numerous regulatory requirements coming our way, this chapter plays a crucial role and is at the heart of Finance reporting.
 

Who are we looking for
 

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Developer to strengthen the team and bring it to the next level.

The extensive automation of IT development, testing and deployment processes requires substantial IT skills.

As an Oracle Engineer you will fulfill the role of the specialist within the team who maintains the current Oracle environment and translates required changes into it.

You will be involved in the migration to the new cloud platform.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • Experienced and all-round Oracle developer.

  • Broad knowledge of the Oracle platform (including partitioning, RLS/VPD)

  • SQL and PL/SQL have no secrets for you (minimum of 10 years of work experience).

  • Strong analytical skills

  • You are able to solve performance issues by means of SQL tuning.

  • You are well aware of the latest developments in the Oracle Database area.

  • Experience in large and complex database environments.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Designer, APEX and ORDS is a plus.
