What’s a Feature Engineer Risk within ING Group Services?
ING Group Services is looking for a Feature Engineer in the change domain COO Risk and Finance to support our mission critical programs. This can be an implementation of the new risk modelling tool, a further roll-out of an existing system across multiple geographies, a greenfield implementation of the new compliance tool, a migration of our critical application to cloud and many others. As feature engineer you contribute to bringing COO Risk and Finance to the next level by driving innovation and standardization across the global function, and help us realize our goals and ambitions.
A Feature Engineer within Finance COO Risk and Finance does the following:
Refines technical solution directions and technical dependencies drafted in the Epic in coordination with the Business Analyst, the Domain Architect and relevant Squad members, using his/her in-depth IT/application knowledge.
He/she verifies the extent to which the realized Feature works as designed. He/she facilitates Feature and roadmap planning, cooperation between Squads and the Tribe Team (if any) and Feature delivery; herewith maintaining close relationship with (business) counterpart(s)
Help shape the feature roadmap in periodical planning sessions towards Vision, Themes and Epics
Identifying which Squads/Teams/specialists to involve in the Agile build cycle
Challenge and advise Product Owners on Feature dependencies and priorities and backlog alignment of individual Squads
Your “backpack” should contain:
Bachelor or Master Degree in IT (Engineering)
Experience in refining and designing application features, ability to challenge and advise Product Owners on feature dependencies and priorities, ability to translate design architecture into technical requirements
Risk & Finance knowledge: interested in/worked in risk modelling, financial sector or banking
Experience in Project management
Experience in Product management
Experience in Solutions architecture
Eagerness to learn and to keep knowledge up-to-date
Know your way around agile way of working
