Architect IV in Amsterdam

ING Group Services is looking to add an Enterprise Architect with experience and in depth knowledge of the Information Architecture. You will have an excellent knowledge of market tooling and Cloud offerings. You have experience with working with external suppliers and Cloud services for large international companies.  You are able to oversee the complete landscape, create the required reference architectures and roadmaps.

Job description:

The Enterprise Architect :

• Creates Reference Architecture and Cookbooks on Enterprise-level
• Develops ‘maintained’ IT standard solutions into global reusable components and drive the usage
• Creates and monitors Standards, Rules and Guidelines
• Creates the complete Workplace Services architecture and interaction patterns
• Safeguards the cross dependencies with other domains
• Manages stakeholders across multiple local departments.
• Is the Go-to person for Architects and (C-level) managers for areas of responsibility.
• Has significant knowledge of multiple (new) technologies, products, business processes or architecture.
• Has in depth technical knowledge of tools from Microsoft, Google and preferably others.
• Creates structured documents and visualizations that are easily understandable for engineers.
• Thoroughly understands the Security requirements for his domain. Ensures and increases security of his domain. Understands Security controls and Risk policies and the link to business value.
• Maintains (strategic) supplier relationships with one or more suppliers in his own domain.

Your work environment:

You will be working within the department Group Services / Enterprise Architecture / Information Architecture and reporting to the Chapter Lead of  GS/EA/IA. The team has the architectural responsibility for supporting all domains of Tech/Group Services and Global functional role of EA.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect. You have a proven track record in managing architectural change in ICT in general. You are able to efficiently create architectural products that are needed to facilitate management decisions. You have the ability to translate business strategy and requirements in business, information and technology architecture deliverables. You can act as a trusted advisor on C level. Experience with SaaS solutions and Cloud is a must. Extensive knowledge of the tooling proposition from Google and Microsoft is required. Experience with banking products and processes  is preferred. You have a clear understanding the Bank’s regulatory environment and the requirements that derive thereof for the productivity tooling for the employee journey.

You have the ability to work independently and/or lead teams and are able to motivate them. You have good communication and consultancy skills and you are persuasive.
