The Global CISO organisation of ING is responsible to assist ING management, business and other tribes in providing customer friendly services in a safe and secure way. Business leaders and CISO are jointly responsible for bank-wide security. CISO is mandated to drive required change in all domains, business and IT.
The opportunity
The Global Identity & Access Management (GIAM) is responsible for executing global IAM transformation programs, performing product management for global IAM products, defining IAM standards, monitoring compliance throughout ING and supporting ING in effectively implementing IAM.
The team
Within the GIAM department, the Senior Consultant is part of the team IAM Governance & Compliance. As Senior Consultant you focus on performing (complex) assessments, advising on improvements and creating accompanying reports on various IAM topics.
Roles and responsibilities
Performing (complex) assessments, including
Assessing current state
Identifying issues
Defining future state
Drafting clear recommendations
Performing root-cause analysis’ regarding IAM related issues
Advising on improvements in different IAM areas, such as:
Improving current IAM standards
Improving global IAM governance and processes
Improving global IAM services and capabilities
Supporting Head of GIAM in drafting clear presentations on various IAM topics for senior management
Supporting Head of GIAM in coordinating ad hoc/high priority requests from senior management and improvement initiatives
Aligning with stakeholders globally (incl. Corporate IRM, Internal Audit, and local entities)

Bachelors and/or master’s degree
Certifications like RE, CRISC, CISSP, CISA and/or CISM are highly recommended
5 years’ professional experience in the field of IT Security/IT Risk, and 3 years in the field of IAM
Subject matter expert in the area of Information Security in general, and specifically IAM
Strong experience in performing assessments, identifying issues and formulating improvement recommendations
Strong experience in creating clear/concise presentations and reports for senior management
Experience in coordinating change/improvement initiatives involving many stakeholders globally
Excellent command of the English language
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Ability to take ownership and responsibility
