DLT Development Engineer in Amsterdam

ING, a front runner in developing innovative blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solutions, is looking for a Development Engineer to design and develop DLT systems in ING Neo, the innovation department of ING Bank. You will work together with the product owners and other engineers of our DLT center of expertise as well as initiative leads from other tribes. Your key responsibilities:

You will design develop and test blockchain and DLT applications in all stages of their lifecycle: from early proof of concepts to enterprise grade applications running in production. Besides that, you get at least 25% time to contribute to make open source contributions that are relevant in our field.

Your profile:

• Masters degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Profound interest in Cryptography.
• Experience with distributed computing.
• Good hands-on knowledge with: Docker, JVM programming languages, Spring
• Understand at least one of the main DLT’s: Corda, Enterprise Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric.
• DevOps practices including Git, CI/CD, test automation and monitoring.
• Good understanding of application security.
• You are flexible, pro-active and positive.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

• Experience in an innovative environment.
• Database administration fundamentals.
