We are looking for a Product Designer / Feature Engineer with a drive to enable ING Engineers globally to speed up their software delivery and achieve the state-of-the-art differentiating customer experience.
ING’s Touchpoint Platform is at the heart of ING’s Strategy providing the capabilities that enable our business to create scalable business applications out of reusable services across ING and Third Parties. The One Experience product area is part of the Touchpoint Platform and contains 3 major products: A Unified Design System, Content Management as a Service, and the SDKs for Web and Mobile.
The SDKs for Web and Mobile
The SDKs for Web and Mobile enables users to build a differentiating customer experience by offering unique and proven high-quality front-end components and tooling to set up web and mobile apps. By consuming it, users adhere to the ING Global Visual Identity and software quality standards. It is at the heart of the front-end community. Features of the SDKs are, among others: a configurable app framework (micro front ends), core and security libraries, dev tooling, and a hybrid framework. Via the web and mobile applications that have been built with these SDKs, you will reach millions of users.
This is what you will do. Be prepared.
To achieve success and great results, you are one with the business. Starting with your feedback and requirement meetings with the user board, you will present back your updated product plan to contribute to your and your users’ goals. To deliver the product features, you will work with three multi-disciplinary scrum development teams. You need the expertise of the squads to work on timeliness delivery of the SDKs for Web and Mobile features.
Your work loops from short to the medium-term horizon and vice versa. For the medium term, you align with a central product owner on the right value creation by determining valuable and sustainable change on the web and mobile standards needed for ING in the future. You determine in time what to initiate upfront before the identified value, needs or problem arises.
And that’s not all. So, you will work in an ever-changing environment in a multi-team scrum setup of three squads, three feature engineers, and one central product owner. This means that you need to learn quickly, be alert and adapt to reality. Finally, if you want to be the best, you daily pay attention to continuously changing reality. Therefore, you balance the work needed to be done for your product development that has the most business value.
Ultimately, you are driving web and mobile development so that ING squads globally can accelerate and deliver a differentiating user experience to ING customers.
