The team

GCRP Platform Squad is responsible for delivering the base infrastructure, consumed by other teams to deploy their application of a running software which is supported 24/7. You are also the subject matter expert on infra stack's new features and helps out with new implementations. The position is a DevOps role and requires building and working with containers, infrastructure as code, Azure DevOps, automation with Ansible, knowledge on the ELK stack or Prometheus, Kafka and RHEL stack.

Roles and responsibilities

You will be working as a DevOps Engineer so your day-to-day work will consist of:

• Improving, implementing enterprise level monitoring by using emerging technologies
• Automating as much as possible by coding, scripting
• Collaboration with GCRP engineers on daily tasks
• Making sure we are secure and compliant
• Being an active team player who takes responsibility

• Experience or passion to improve enterprise level monitoring by enabling advanced monitoring features like anomaly detection/prediction, event correlation, application/platform centric monitoring, behavioral monitoring etc.
• Experience in network monitoring (e.g. Prometheus, Elasticsearch , Logstash, Kibana & Grafana)
• Experience in orchestration platforms (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Azure Automation, etc.)
• Experience in LCM and vulnerability managemet (Linux and Windows)
• Experience in IT Resilience and change management.
• Experience in Risk assessment and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of Java/APIs is a plus
• Knowledge of TIBCO BW and EMS is a plus
• Ability to clearly and succinctly express ideas, facts and opinions
• Ability to adapt to new situations and alter behaviours in order to work effectively
• Can complete tasks and achieve results in an efficient, timely and high-quality manner
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
