The opportunity

We are looking for a Business Process Expert ‘Structured Data’ for Real Estate Finance (REF) Delivery to work on the (digital and data driven) real estate proposition for all segments within ING.

Within ING we call a Business Process Expert a Customer Journey Expert (CJE.) As a CJE you are always working on the design and realization of the best experience for our customers. You are a product developer, formula manager, communication officer and marketer in one. You make it possible for our customers to arrange their Real Estate-related banking easily, quickly and efficiently. The use of structured data is an important element to service our clients in the best way possible.

Various squads within the Delivery organization are contributing to the strategic goals of ING REF. The teams are designed using agile scrum methodology and working on the common goal at the QBR. You will be a member of the connect squad, this team improves our ability to work with structured data (Stand Business Reporting) and delivers various innovative services like the usage of Electronic Identities.

You bring expertise in the field of developing digital solutions, the translation from business to IT development and proposition validation by experiment. With this expertise you can develop appealing propositions for the sector real estate which will help our clients moving forward.

Role and responsibilities

As a Customer Journey Expert, you have a good balance in thinking and doing. Customer perspective is your primary driver and decisions are made data driven. You keep your expertise from the real estate target group continuously up to date and proactively share your knowledge with your colleagues. Together with your (multidisciplinary) squad you are responsible for realizing your squads mission. You take initiative and operate independently, but you find good cooperation and joint realization of the objectives is at least as important.

• As a CJE you work together with business & IT squads to realize our ambitions

• As a CJE you collect business requirements, and you look for coordination with relevant colleagues and stakeholders

• The CJE is responsible for stakeholder management with various squads, Area Leads involved and external (IT) partners in the field of Standard Business Reporting, Digital Identities etc.

• The CJE is responsible for the design, development and delivery of (parts of) the finished product. In addition, the CJE is responsible for coordinating the development in IT with whom we work together.

• As a CJE you are self-organizing and responsible for the quality of the increment.

• As a CJE you follow the latest developments of your area of expertise, in this case the use and disclosure of structured data

• The CJE is a sparring partner for ING/REF’s management in the field of digital data and identities. You have your own vision, and you are able to advice the management

The squad plans the work in sprints of 2 or 3 weeks

Furthermore, you have:

• Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written), C2 level

• At least 5-7 years of relevant work experience

• Master's degree

• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management at different levels

• Experience and affinity with the use of structured data in customer and employee processes

• Strong affinity and experience with Agile working

• Demonstrable experience in communication with large groups (customers, employees)

• Expertise in creating an extraordinary customer experience as well as developing, testing and scaling digital solutions

• Affinity with the Professional Real Estate market

• Excellent social skills

• Experience with SBR, Digital identity and/or change management is a plus

• Experience with IT processes, can distinguish between the different roles and estimate high level requirements

• An inquisitive attitude and real go-getter mentality
