ING is looking for an experienced Dev Engineer with a passion for designing and building  Data centered solutions. The Dev Engineer we seek will help us achieve our data led ambition for the Wholesale Lending Business.

Your Work Environment

You will work in one of the RiskRatING teams. The RiskRatING teams are responsible for implementing the credit models for areas like Real Estate Finance, Project Finance, Corporate Large and Financial Institutions.

We enable our front office and risk colleagues to create, review and approve credit ratings as a key step in the customer journey. The ratings are an input for pricing and capital calculation and therefore they play a crucial role in the financial performance of the Bank. You are also involved in implementing the models in a new technology stack, data management and the creating of sector specific financial template to digitize all the financial data from our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop and support advanced business applications for the Wholesale lending line of business
• Search and propose solutions using the newest technologies
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by tackling technological debt, conducting code reviews, and refactoring
• Help your team grow and think of ways to make solutions scalable and future proof
• You continuously improve your skills to adapt to new situations, and always deliver the highest quality results

Skillset Required:

            Mandatory Technical skills:

• You have a pro-active and hands-on attitude; you speak up about your ideas
• 8+ years hands on professional experience
• Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
• Excellent knowledge of Java 8, Git, Maven
• Experience in creating web applications  RESTful APIS
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience with projects within the Spring Framework, like Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Micro-Services architecture, scalability,
• Container technologies: Docker, OpenShift
• Knowledge of Hibernate or any other ORM
• Strong knowledge in Front end frameworks and working experience in developing Web components using one or more framework of the Angular 8 + , ReactJS , Lit-HTML/Lit-Element.
• Knowledge on CICD pipeline (preferably with Azure DevOps )
• Experience in working in Agile and versed with DevOps culture.

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge on Linux OS/shell scripting
• Experience on CI/CD pipeline and relevant tools such Azure DevOps,  Ansible,  Git
• Knowledge of PLSQL or similar database development language
• Capable of solving complex problems
