For our Lan Wifi squad we are looking for an engineer with automation skills who can help us automate our deployments and configuration.

The opportunity

Our networking environment is growing rapidly and we need extra hands to make sure we can still deliver our networks up to the high ING standards. We work with state of the art technologies with very high capacity. We need you to help us stay up to date and in control.

The team

The squad is responsible for development and operations of ING's LAN Wifi networks. Our engineers are very experienced. Working from NL and Poland we are used to working remote, but also meet in the office on a regular basis. We work (but not only) with a variety of network technologies, some we deploy automated others need to be automated

Roles and responsibilities

Working in our squad involves

• You will have a key role in enabling automation tooling and capabilities to cover the our networking landscape focusing using Python and AzureDevOPS. 
• You will work in close collaboration with our network experts to understand their needs and desired outputs.
• You will act as an advisor to the team when it comes to automation topics with best practices, defining frameworks, organizing workshops.
• Build software pipelines, deploy and monitor services.

• You have at least five years experience in a large organisation.
• You are self-driven and proactive.
• You understand automation, we understand the network, we help each other.
• You have extensive experience with Azure DevOps and can code in Python. You have experience with Git and branching strategies
