The project manager is primarily responsible for the management of capital investment projects. He/she is responsible for the scoping, engineering and execution of capital investment projects of new and existing manufacturing facilities, production equipment, laboratories and site infrastructure in the customers worldwide Network. He/she will report to the head of Project Management.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the execution of a portfolio of strategic variable projects (budget 2 - 20 MioUS$) from concept design studies through to the complete implementation of business solutions for investment projects at different production sites. Furthermore you have to collaborates with contractors, suppliers and other team members in the execution of the work. Important is to evaluates performance on a regular basis and establishes (together with the head of Project management) points for improvement. What is important is knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, and together with the head of Project Management, monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance. Furthermore is knowledge of the principles and methods to identify, analyze, specify, design, and manage facilities; includes translating functional requirements into technical requirements used for design and/or presenting alternative technologies or approaches important.

• BSc. or higher in Engineering
• Excellent analytical abilities and a solid base in engineering fundamentals
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
• Proven written and verbal communication in English and other languages
• Ability to act as facilitator and chairman in international meetings
• Experience in engineering/project management, project engineering for larger and/or complex investment projects
• Have some experience in the Food, Pharma and/or Chemie
