As a retailer, our biggest challenge is getting to know our customers as best as we can. Who are they? Where do they come from? And, most importantly, how can we serve them even better? In your role, you would provide a solid basis for Customer Insight with Siebel CRM. Not just for one retail formula, but for all of our international retail formulae at the same time.
As CRM System Analyst, you would ensure that the Siebel CRM application runs smoothly in all of our European business units. These include Kruidvat, Trekpleister and ICI PARIS XL in the Netherlands, Marionnaud in France and Spain, Superdrug in the UK and Watsons in Ukraine.
From implementation to operational management, you would be as steady as a rock for your colleagues. You would spend roughly half of your time helping them out of acute Siebel CRM-related problems. The rest of the time, you would be applying your IT knowledge and analytical skills to search for long-term solutions. A lot of your work would be focused on details and Siebel tables. Thanks to you, we would have the correct data available to take the right steps strategically.
As part of a small team, you would be involved in new developments and projects from beginning to end, alongside your colleagues. This means that your daily work activities would include:
The position is based at the head office of A.S. Watson Benelux in Renswoude, and you would visit our European branches once per year.
You have a customer and result-oriented way of working, and like to get stuck into the task at hand. You have good listening skills and know how to convey your message to others. You also understand that a small change at one end of a complex system can have large consequences on the other end. You can easily get to work on the small details, while keeping the bigger picture in mind at the same time. This allows you to prevent problems at an early stage. If you encounter a sudden change or a situation requiring urgent action, you keep your cool and easily switch between tasks to come up with the right solution.
As CRM System Analyst, you form part of the IT Europe Group, the department that facilitates all our European business units in the IT field. We upgrade our software and hardware each year, so we always work with state-of-the-art systems and can operate with the required flexibility in the market. Every day we go in search of ways to improve and innovate the systems that are in use. At A.S. Watson, we do this ourselves: we develop our own software, build our own systems and roll them out ourselves. In other words, your work truly has an impact: everything that you do can be traced back to full or empty shelves in the stores, short or long lines at the register, etc.
