As Information Analyst, you would play an important role in the start-up phase of software development projects. You would work at our branches across Europe: shops, offices and logistics centers. Not just for one retail formula, but for all of our European retail formulae at the same time. These include Kruidvat, Trekpleister and ICI PARIS XL in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, as well as Drogas, Spectr and Watsons in Eastern Europe, for example. The application landscape contains the CRM system Oracle Siebel, Adobe Campaign, an Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and WES. WES is an ERP system developed in-house containing a large number of different applications that support our business processes.

As Information Analyst, you would be responsible for producing structured design documents. You would bring about the transition from wish to specification, which the Scrum teams can then use to get to work. You would use standard methods and techniques in doing so. Your documents would include the necessary flow and relationship charts, as well as information and data models. You would align the desired solution with the product owner, your Scrum team and the user organisation. You would also be involved in drawing up technical designs and acceptance criteria. As part of both a team and a project, you would work together with the product owner, business analysts and development teams. Finally, you would ensure that the functional and technical documentation is successfully transferred to the management organisation.

Your daily work activities would include:

• drawing up functional designs by analysing existing documentation and technical requirements;
• being involved in drawing up process charts and process descriptions where necessary;
• serving as an information source for the development team concerning the system's functioning;
• actively collaborating on improvements within both the development team and your field, position and tribe.

• At least a HBO (hoger beroepsonderwijs, higher professional education) level of education, preferably ICT-related.
• At least two years' experience in drawing up functional designs (experience in retail using Oracle (Forms/APEX) environments and/or GUI/UX design would be an advantage).
• Knowledge and experience with tools, methods and techniques for documenting processes and designs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (because you would be working for the European retail formulae, a good command of written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of the Dutch language is a must).
• A proactive, service-oriented approach.
• Good communication skills on various levels with users, project managers and middle management within organisations, and knowledge of the Agile way of working.
