Our Group IT Europe is responsible for the ongoing management and innovation of the ERP modules that are developed in-house. These modules are used in the head office, in the stores and in the distribution centres of our European branches. This includes Kruidvat, Trekpleister and ICI PARIS XL in the Netherlands and Belgium, but also The Perfume Shop in England and Watson in the Ukraine. In the Service & Delivery team, you are one of three functional specialists who have an understanding of several of the ERP sub-applications and enable optimal utilisation and innovation thereof. You are the intermediary between the European key users and the Group IT developers and work along actively on the development of our system, with attention for optimal workability and reliability of the systems.

Your daily tasks would include:

• accepting incoming change requests, questions and reports of malfunctions, and subsequently analysing and converting these into unequivocal requirements and getting the job done with the appropriate priority;
• advising and supporting the European key users on the requirements and possibilities of the systems; you are the expert, which is why they rely on you;
• actively participating in the development process for new functionalities: you bring your functional knowledge in for the preparation phase and work along in sprints on the implementation;
• preparation and execution of as well support the functional and acceptance testing: you are responsible for the functional release notes and prepare training materials and the required manuals to ensure that new releases are implemented successfully.

• Higher vocational education or university-level education in Business Information Systems or a similar study direction.
• At least 2 years of work experience in the functional IT domain.
• A demonstrable affinity for IT processes, work processes and functional software development.
• Work experience in a retail environment and/or an Agile work environment is an advantage!
• You have some prior experience working with tools like TOPdesk, Jira and Confluence and are interested in technical terms like Oracle SQL, APEX, OSB, ETL and DWH because of your desire to understand the functionality and the details behind it.
• You have a keen analytical insight, can work independently and are proactive in your work. Those in your environment recognise your flexible and practical demeanour.
• You are a strong communicator and have a good command of Dutch and English, both written and verbal, in view of the international character.
