We want to be a customer value champion with great customer experience. Our IT plays a crucial role in that; it needs to be awesome in every way. In essence, the Manager IT Improvement’s job is all about continuously improving our IT software development domain: Better, faster, cheaper and happier. You will do that in the fast-moving, ever dynamic world of Tele2, for our digital domain were a dozen on- and offsite Scrum teams are creating the best digital customer experience one could imagine. The sole purpose of your job is to lead the wheel of continuous improvement on our journey to world-class IT.

Because you’re You....
  • You facilitate your Scrumteams with optimum circumstances for frequent delivery in our Agile at scale delivery model and get super-impediments out of the way;
  • You coach your teams to become high-performance teams, meaning they are autonomous, deliver the highest quality and deliver the right value for our customers;
  • Your main stakeholders Product Owners, Integration Managers and Project-/Program Managers, are always involved and up-to-date regarding quality and performance of the teams;
  • You assure the right-sourcing with our Partners and govern the performance of these teams;
  • You create a work environment in which CI/CD, BusDevOps, new technology and innovation are the norm;
  • You are part of the IT leadership-team, guiding and leading our transformation.

We’ll start getting excited if you have
  • 7+ years of management experience in an IT environment;
  • 5+ years of experience leading a technical workforce;
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project/Program Management or equivalent work experience;
  • Strong working knowledge of IT software and applications used in the Telecom sector (e.g. CRM, Billing, Ordering, Provisioning and Rating platforms);
  • Lots of Agile software development experience (Scrum, BusDevOps, CI/CD, Scaled Agile);
  • Lots of experience in the Digital arena (Customer-X, BI, Front-Ends);
  • Innovative and technology-savvy;
  • The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment;
  • The willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by the flow of operations;
  • The ambition to create the best-of-the best software delivery factory one could possibly imagine.
