In Tele2 we develop in an agile way, using Scrum. Scrum helps us to develop products as well as our supporting systems in a fast, flexible way. Very much in line with the Tele2 culture as well as today’s market demands. The challenge in this job is that the agile scrum process requires an agile Product Owner: handling changing requirements, conflicting needs of various stakeholders, knowing when to seek support (escalate) quickly to keep sprint running in case of hick ups. Ans even as important; to guide and coach our teams towards the best the of working. Are you ready to be the linking pin between our business and IT?

Because you’re You....
  • You create user stories in a manner that translates business requirements into language understood by the scrum teams;
  • The work delivered by the scrum teams is based on business priorities and the best return on investment for Tele2 wide;
  • The team is coached to improve themselves continuously;
  • Our teams are guided in finding the best ways to work in an environment where DevOps is becoming more and more important;
  • There is a good balance between business needs and wishes of the team (f.e. to work with new techniques);
  • You plan processes such that it increases our way of working towards DevOps faster and smoother;
  • You help business decision makers to prioritize various user stories ensuring maximum value generation from each sprint;
  • Liaise with the stakeholders to gather business needs;
  • Plan, develop and refine stories based on overall priorities set by the business decision maker; optimizing value from each sprint, aligning priorities with other scrum teams;
  • Monitor user story development through daily stand-ups, including virtual meetings with off shored development teams.

This is important as well:

  • Baxhelors’ degree: analytical skills more so than the grade;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner in a complex environment;
  • Knowledge of and experience with working in an Agile environment as a member of a Scrumteam;
  • Several years of experience in the Telecom Industry is an advantage;
  • Customer focused, result driven;
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Have strong planning and organising skills;
  • Influencing without authority.
