One of the cornerstones in HR technology is Workday which has been implemented in all reporting units (with exception of Central Europe and JVs). The focus now is on further improving the HR processes that run through Workday and capturing full value of the system through standardization and insight generation.
As a Product Owner HR you own the implementation of the key HR processes in Workday. You will propose improvements, create alignment on solutions and work with the Workday Support team to implement the changes. You manage the backlog of change requests initiated from the stakeholders in the different reporting units (e.g. local operations managers, talent managers, HR business partners, end users) and from strategic initiatives from the Global HR Leadership Team. You will support the reporting units in successfully executing business change management activities.
As the concept of product owner is new in the HR domain you will play a pivotal role in setting up the infrastructure and managing the required change around it (e.g. new responsibilities, new processes). You will support the move towards a more Agile way of working (pilot, DevOps practices).
If needed you will work on specific projects as well (e.g. implementation of new functionalities, implementation of Workday modules in new regions) and be involved in strategizing new business opportunities (e.g. global LMS system or case management system).
You will act as a sparring partner to the business (HR leads) as well as to the HR Ops CoE leader. Although you don’t need to be a Workday expert, we expect you to participate in the relevant external Workday communities and bring in new outside-in perspectives to further capture the value of the Workday system within Aegon.
RequirementsAs a Product Owner you are able to structure large amounts of information, identify common denominators, create and deliver compelling presentations and persuade people to jump on the bandwagon. Also, you are a motivator and enjoy being the leading person on projects. You can analyze problems easily and propose pragmatic solutions that improve the efficiency of the processes and the end user experience. You are experienced in pioneering and in driving continuous change. Strong organizational skills and communications skills are critical to this position, as is the ability to successfully adapt to diverse people and situations, proactively resolve issues and complete assignments on time.
