As a Product owner BI for HR you you will capture demand together with the Insights Driven HR Lead , flesh out business requirements, maintain the HR BI backlog and set priorities and formulate sprints.

Based on selected backlog items you will work with functional application managers and data owners to unlock data from operational tools (e.g. Workday, Globoforce, t-Option, CultureAmp) and other sources (e.g. Glassdoor, Career website).

• Once established you are in control of the data flows, i.e. you are monitoring and testing the data pipelines.
• You will bring data from various sources together in a data repository and you will work on extending the repository.
  • For the time being structured internal HR data from HR applications like Workday, Globoforce, t-Option, will be stored and linked in a pragmatic database (PowerBI).
  • In the future you will work with stakeholders from Corporate Systems, CoE Digital and HR defining more robust solutions (e.g. datalake) for unlocking internal and external, structured and unstructured HR data (e.g. Aegon global career site clickstream data and/or social media posts) and implementing those solutions.
• You are responsible for documenting the transformations applied to data and maintaining a data dictionary.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards using PowerBI and other visualization tools.
• Document (key) performance indicator definitions and dashboard release notes.

Requirements

• Higher Education or University degree / work level.
• Interested in people / workforce topics.
• Strong problem solving, data analysis and communication skills.
• 2-5 years of experience working in a BI environment, preferably with SQL, DAX and PowerBI.
• You have successfully delivered end to end solutions from extracting data, to creating a database, to building interactive reports on top of it.
• You are comfortable prototyping and validating the adoption of new dashboards, together with the Analytics Lead and other stakeholders.
• You have a continuous learning mindset, are open to feedback and easily adopt new skills and behaviors.
• A valid European work permit.
• Fluent in English. Dutch is a nice to have.
