(Senior) Business Analyst Back Office in Heerlen

Within the Asset Management IT Back Office team we are responsible for all the international systems supporting the registration and validation of what the Front Office offers. We have 3 value streams (Payment Factory, Reconciliations/Corporate Actions and Accounting) using different specialised systems ( Swift and Trax, TLM/XSP resp. Geneva). Within these teams were are looking for (Senior) Business Analysts to join!

The Business Analyst (BA) understands the business needs and identifies how best to meet those needs. This includes working with the business and the technology areas to gather requirements for development and management. The role analyzes, validates and documents the business and system requirements.

The BA is a business analyst facilitator within the CITO organization all of them acting as a bridge between the business and the change groups, and accountable for a business and/or technology solution that supports the business request or opportunity and is based on the enterprise architecture. This role works with the business to formulate, define and make decisions to authorize business transformation initiatives. This role designs, changes and creates business processes and/or information products that will be used to implement the business transformation solutions. This is done through research and fact-finding (including outside-in thinking) combined with good understanding of applicable Asset Management business (information) processes, systems, and Asset Management industry requirements.

The BA determines the process and requirements management methodology practices. The role ensures that the methodology and quality standards are being met.

• (senior) Business Analyst for Recon.

Scope of responsibility

Business Analysts are assigned to specific Business Technology Management areas. BAs are expected to have knowledge within a specific functional business domain. BAs are expected to have understanding of the other functional domains.

• Specialized contribution to business process development;
• Responsible for connecting business needs to requirements and translation to business (information) process design;
• Ensure quality and methodology standards are met and maintained.

Knowledge and skills

• Bachelor or Academic Degree in Economics, Finance and/or Information Management, Business Management, MBA;
• Fluent English in writing and presenting;
• Professional, always translating resistance towards change into benefits and solutions;
• Company shaper, business (information) process chain thinker;
• Dares to say no to management with reasoning: has strong convincing power;
• Outside In drive and initiates change without being asked for;
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally;
• Never loses focus for the end goal.
