We are looking to new engineering talent for our onboarding squads in Leeuwarden. These squads create state of the art software for our new to bank customers. You make sure that our new customers can do their banking wherever they are and whenever they want.

Your job

As IT devops engineer you develop software in the broadest sense. You can work on refining the work, designing the solution, developing and testing the solution, and also maintain the solution after go live. We automate our testing, development and deployments wherever possible. As an engineer you fist cover a small part of the development work, but as soon as you are ready you are stimulated to take more initiatives on other areas. You will master Java, Frontend technology, Azure Devops pipelines, Secure and resilient coding and much more. ING is an environment where innovation and initiative is very much stimulated.

Training and Coaching

As an IT engineer there will be many opportunities to  discover and develop yourself. Your chapter lead and senior engineers will coach you during your work.  On top of this, throughout the year various virtual IT engineer days are organized where you’ll learn about ING and work on your professional skills.

Our IT engineer

• Has a master’s or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Informatics, Software/Computer Engineering or Mathematics (with clear programming affinity);
• Has a demonstrable and indomitable passion for IT;
• Is enthusiastic and consider the interests of our customers and your colleagues;
• Has an innovative take on banking and an unconditional drive to turn your ideas into reality;
• Has have an interest to learn more about banking/finance
