ING is looking for a Chapter Lead for our Current Accounts department
ING DB/CIO is looking for a passionate and inspiring IT Team lead (within ING we use the title Chapter Lead), with a solid IT background.
As Chapter Lead you work on developing and testing high quality applications, at a bank that is known for its IT innovations. Working according to the newest methods within complex IT projects.
The function of IT Chapterlead has two very important aspects:
First of all you will fulfil an important IT role as Development or Operations Engineer, in a professional DevOps team. 50% of your time you will develop and test one or more highly sophisticated technical applications. For the other 50% of your working week, you will be responsible for coaching, stimulating and motivating IT experts, which will consist of 8 till 12 specialist on average.
You are an inspiring lead within your Chapter and/or squads, by stimulating innovation, coaching on the agile way of work, initiate knowledge sharing activities or improvements within the IT area of Current Accounts. Or, even better, if you have impact on the level of Daily Banking or even ING.

In the ING NL & BE Daily banking tribe, we deliver care free daily banking activities for NL & BE customers, with a focus on customer experience.
The Current Accounts solution selling department, as part of the Daily Banking Tribe, is responsible for delivering several daily banking processes used by all our customers. The processes are concentrated around life cycle management for the current accounts and packages (e.g. opening, closing). In this position for Chapter Lead you will focus on the squads working on Closing Accounts.
ING works in multi-disciplinary teams based on Scrum, Agile and DevOps principles. Responsibility for Infra and Security is adapted within the squads, business & IT have joined, making a squad end-to-end responsible for a customer journey or product.
